Pathfinders Youth Center Sociaty is an amazing program run by two of the worlds most generous people....ever. Ruth and Orville Lee give their time, their money their hearts AND their home to providing and helping youth. Whether it is to give them a place to live in their foster home, or whether it is to open up their hearts and listen to us rant about their problems. The reason I am in life where I am at the moment is due to their generosity not only of knowledge but of spirit. So it is in that spirit that I am opening up this community to helping them...and in that same spirit yes there will be prizes!

What We are looking for is a poster that we can have printed off and display. It should some how reflect PYCS and it's core message. The words can say whatever you wish but the message should convey the following;

"Just because life has pushed us down a certin path does not mean that we can not cultivate that path into taking us somewhere else"

It can be photography, it can be painting, it can be digital art. It can be anything you want so long as it's bold, it's creative and it's attention getting.

The overall size of the poster should not exceed 4’0” X 4’0” (1.2 meters x 1.2 meters) Make all visual aspects of the poster large enough to view as most people view a poster from two to four feet away. To enhance readability use large fonts and enlarged photos.

Please remember this is a GOTH ORGANIZED CONTEST however the final descision to the winner will belong to the PFYCS

The most important part DEADLINES! The deadline for the contest is July 31st which will allow PFYSC to decide if they want to use them or not and give plenty of people chances to get their work done. So with that being said, how do you enter? Simple.

-Edit- Okay so like 30 seconds ago I said I was going to close this, I changed my mind. Okay so heres the thing...When Giyvin first started GOTH we had upwords of over 150 members, and unfortunatly RT kicked in and kicked our asses HARD CORE reminding us that as much as we are artists we are people with lives...-snort- okay seriously we're pathedic computer nerds with nothing better to do then get laid get coffee and create depressing work that does nothing but inspire others to do the same and one hundread years from now people will look back and go "look at those fucking Goths...they are so cool, they were so ahead of their time..." okay probably not but we're goths which means we reserve the right to our dellusions!

Hi, my name is Devon most call me Scoobs, Scriptz or Scoobie, pick one call me Dev and die....Giyvin has died repeatedly unfortunatly the fucker keeps comming back....friggen Zombie. Here's the thing, last summer I utterly promised to bring the site back up to it's full un-adulterated form.......then I got poor lost all my money and my internet connection -shudder twitch shudder- god that was awful...I nearly died...really I almost commited suicide over my computer..(okay if you belive that you REALLY shouldn't be here.)

So now here I am again promising to keep the site up and running only this time things are a little different, The last time I was back MOST of you wrote me asking me to remove you from the members list...whelp I did that, and as you can see I also deleted your work, no this is not some miserable attempt at revenge, this is a new Era. It's a new year, it's a new journey and it's a new -G-O-T-H- Community the old rules no longer apply because a) I am no where near as patient -snort- or nice as Giyvin and B) I won't take crap from anyone.

The rules are -really- simple and -really- super fair. But you have to follow them or the community won't work, I am not Hitler..it may seem like it but I swear I'm not...hell I'm a Pagan...-cough- sorta.

So what are these rules you ask, after I made you read all that shit, well like I said they really are truly fair and simple.

1a)Everyone who joins the group MUST send me a note if they wish to have their work submitted under the community.

1b)If you wish to join the group you MUST submit a -G-O-T-H- Deviantart ID - There is a reason for this, I hope to have an ID From every single member who joins the group, this is a group and while it's nice to only have one or two people creating id's the groups id's should be represenitive of all of us, not just one person's idea of what the group should be or what they think it is.

2)You will be ranked, not by style nor by how -many- deviations you submit to the group but instead by how -well- they are...yes this is a community but we have to have standards...and no your rank will not be changed by me....if you think someone's work is improoving and they deserve to go up in rank, come and let me know, thats all it takes, i will leave it up to your fellow (fellowette) goths to come and tell me when they belive your ready to be upgraded so to speak.

2b) Please be polite...this is a group, a collection of misfits, of people who need a place to feel normal this is NOT the place to say shit like {That is the crappiest peice of shitballs I've ever seen...} not only will you be banned but your ass will soooo be sent to the DA Mods...if you have something to say say it constructivly..There will be no fighting, if you have a problem with something or someone's peice come and talk to me.

3)Peices that include racism, child porn ect will NOT BE ACCEPTED THERE ARE NO ACCEPTIONS! I am fairly certin that this is self-explanitory.

3b)no, this is not a space for sex this is not the place for porn...if it's artistic, it'll be accepted and submitted for the approval of the Goth Community, if its deemed in appropriate it won't be.

4a) Every six months we will vote on a "Council"...The council members will be in charge of adding to the group, gathering members, working on the websites, (Yes there will be one.) that kind of thing, every six - twelve months the council will change thus giving everyone a chance at putting in their imput.

4b) to be selected for council all you gotta do is send us lowley administrators a note so we can let people know. Simple as that. Four members will be chosen each time and yes, oh YES There will be prizes, sometimes inc. A DA Subscription, others a free print or DA T-shirt ect. So yes, your hard work will -not- go in vain. I think thats it I think that's all...oh yes the ranks.

Hey people out there, okay so here I was promising to update Goth and keep it flowing and then I lost my internet connection, and still I don't currently have one, so I hugely apoligize to any and all who haven't been removed and are still getting notes and messages. I promise (again) as soon as I can be back full time and real life stops kicking my ass hard core, I will remove any and all who are no longer apart of the group.

As of yet we haven't been adding any new deviations and we won't be for awhile it seems. I know I did promise this wouldn't happen again but as you know RT comes first.

In the comming months I'm hoping to get this to be a payed account, add more moderators and admin and turn this account into a full blown website. I still plan to do all those things and more. If there is anyone willing to admin please contact deviant:Giyvin and let him know I'll be sending him a new e-mail with the password revision.

If you plan or wish to apply for a mod the qualifications are as follows;

you must have been apart of DA for 6-18 months
You must be able to contribute at least 14hrs per WEEK to Goth
you must be an artist (poet, comp. freek ect)
and you MUST be willing to deal with all the daily chores of being an admin.

I'm begging someone out there (there are millions of ppl on this site there has to be someone) to take over until I get back.

Hey There Everyone, I am your new admin ~DaScoob there's a few things going on concerning -G-O-T-H so please bare with me while I get this journal thing organized enough to let you in on all the gossip.

I have taken over this little community but please remember one thing : No matter what we do, no matter what I say, this community was created for you the Torrmented and that is exactly how it will stay. That will never change, any major descisions will be decided by you.

Both As well as have moved on to do rt things as well as their own projects...but I promise I'll do my best to keep their vision strong. I have no desire nor any need to leave DA For long periods of time.

I am a 22 poet from Surrey BC Canada, You can read -most- of my old stuff at ~Boos-Slave enjoy. So with that said lets get onto the fun crap yeah?!

Donate a Print: Earlier today the idea of getting this account a subscription came up. One problem..I am not comfortable with "Owening" a community that I haven't helped to create. So the idea that perhaps some of you would be willing to donate a print or two came up. If you decide you wish to donate the funds from any one of your print's sold, to getting this account a DA Subscription, Your rank will be moved to Immortal. In return You will also have our eternal gothic grattitude.


Admins: I am currently looking for at least two (2) co-admin. If You want to have a chance at this You must have stayed apart of the community from at least 2003 and be an on going constant member. This group is meant to depict the sufferings of those... the pains and losses through art... the word goth is not just because we like the word... there is more meaning to a word then how it looks.

This is a gathering of fine artists through Deviantart who places the pieces of suffering and pain within their souls and heart as therapy for their torment.
